...first step...

...met up with an ex-colleague who just came back from singapore. he looks different and changed. before the singapore work-training, this guy seems to be like dowan to go, not liking the singaporean lifestyle, hating to travel, all thousand and one excuses of not to go. and when i finally met up with him, he is like totally changed. he was telling us about his adventure in orchard road, walking along the road full of pretty faces and high-end fashions. he was comparing each complexes and telling us how takashimaya and all other complexes looks the same. he was talking about how efficient singapore's public transport is. he also told us about how clean the place is. and of course not forgetting how the singaporean-lifestyle-sked-losing is so apparent there. he was mentioning about his boss who likes to "count-dead-grass" as he puts it. pretty farnee way of describing someone's attitude. so what does count dead grass means. wakakaz. do you count dead grass?
anyway, i am glad that this fren of mine has widen his perspective and opened up his possibilities to see the world. its amazing how one's vision of the world has changed when one is willing to open up his eyes to see. i am glad he took the first step. when will you take yours?...
