...january 1 marks the end of a period of remembrance of the passing year and the beginning of a new year. the rememberance part was hard to go by. the beginning part was afresh - chanting my way through the fireworks and meditating through the countdown of 2007. i had a refreshing beginning to this new year with tonnes of experiences to guide me through and many more sourish memories to push me ahead...
aspiration for 2007?

...missing you...

...we celebrated the last working day of 2006 with ikea. we savoured the final moments of the year with lots of memories of 2006. some of us have sweet relfections. while many are sourish. but mostly were confused and stressed for the next year to come. cant help it but see into each and everyone's tearish eye; looking at each other speechless. it was indeed a powerful experience to us all. 2006 came with a bang and it went away with a even louder bang of everyone tearing up to some perfect harmony of memories and closely knitted friendship.
we will miss the farnee laughter and dirty jokes of soong and kingsiang. we will miss the nice girl next door pei ying and pooi jeng. we will miss the blur blur yap and clk. we will miss the kengchau 3million of yew meng. we will miss the always pei.yan.har lily. we will miss the quiet connie sitting at the corner. we will miss the dynamic duo of kacey and cj. we miss the motherly care of sweechu. we miss the ever so melancholic chai. we miss the philospher and always up and moving justin. we will miss the ms pretty secretary winnie. we will miss the creative guys eric and steven. and of course, we will surely miss chuah whose dedication and perseverance surpasses any being. with his motivational words, his passion and dedication to us all, we will definitely miss most. chuah - you are a great mentor to all of us here. and we will miss so many more people. iitc will never be the same again...

...hospitality with a heart...

...spent a beautiful sat with my programmers in 1u. was at coca from 1230pm till almost 4pm. imagine the amount of food we gulped down our throat. though attacked with black ink octopuses and virus of gawd knows what, i didnt learn. as wt always say, NEVER LEARN!. anyway, coca was good. price was of course gengz. luckily someone belanja us big lunch. wakakaz. it was actually our programmers post mortem lunch.

watched eragon - the evening show. its been a long time since i went to the cinema. eragon. good show. got some good advice from there. touched my heart. ate popcorn. went for thai food for dinner. gulped down some thai sushi. nah, not sushi. just mieng kam. dunno what is it and dunno why is it called like that. basically its chewing on some leaves stuffed with dried prawns, onions, peanuts, and of course the spicy cilipadi. gengz.

and went home at almost 12am. tiring day. expensive parking. and extremely down. got infected by flu. arghh. stupid fever. so sleepy...

...all about kuantan...

...a time to unite people. wakakaz. had lunch at calvin's mom bakery - polo bun. finally tasted the freshly baked ham and cheese bun. had a very long chat with calvin's dad and mom. the topic of conversation suddenly becomes of kuantan since my dad is from kuantan and cal's family is from kuantan too. and kuantan is a small town. cal's dad is my uncle's classmate. coincidence. wakakaz. soon, we changed topic to chat - now it was all about calvin. his dad was telling me and wt about his son, this and that la and ask us to take care of him and make him do more work. wakakaz. cool dad! and of course, the meal was on cal's bill. farnee nice lunch at polo bun.

the very next day, went to kuantan. wakakaz. yes, that week was alot about kuantan. for work of course. ilpkuantan. helped them to update some patches for tms, did some training to prepare them for enrolment and updated their symantec. and suddenly en rosli became our best buddy and that wt said he deserves the trophy for the most hardworking tms guy from us. wakakaz. after work, visited cal's grandma and my uncle. and yeap, of course. my uncle remembers cal's dad too. hmm, uniting of the older generation!

tasted the famous kuantan cendol where wt wanted the cendol with jagung! and later went for the famous satay zul in kuantan. and who did we meet there? nicole! wakakaz. of all places to meet. nicole our colleague. she was there with her husband. and eugene, her husband is from kuantan too. obviously same school as calvin. kuantan is really a small town. wakakaz. arrived home at almost 1am with a running nose and little sore throat but beautiful memories of kuantan...

...kns+elsf...

...congratulations to elsf and kns. i was the photographer for the morning session and supposedly nite as well. but at nite was abit tired off cos didnt sleep whole nite preparing the slides presentation for kns and elsf. and of course, the entire slide show was a surprise to everyone. and that nobody has seen it yet. hmm, maybe that was my style of slides presentation to the married couples. keep it surprise till the very last minute. indeed elsf and kns were very surprise with my surprise wedding gift, i hope...

...whats that?...

...somehow this picture of elsf caught my attention here. she likes to point like this one. and kns will always look that way one. wonder what is elsf pointing to. wakakaz...

take a look at the sharp point elsf has. check out the fingers area where the perfect curve of the fingers to the hand. if u look closer, you will see all the stress directed towards the end of the fingers where she is trying to tell kns - over there man! and her mouth will be pointing to that direction as well. and not only her mouth, her head is also directing kns's attention to that side. with her chin up and he hand a little higher than the position of her shoulders; this is needed cos kns is abit tall ler hor. this is so farnee and kns and elsf is so goin to killme for this picture. wakakaz

...26idc...

...26th incovar dhamma camp. calm islands in stormy seas. if was a great holiday for me for the 4 days. like wt said, going on holiday doenst mean have to sit back and relax. doing a part of this work helps to energize us back and put us back on track. indeed the 26idc did its trick. wonderful break away from the torturing chamber in the office conquered by giant octopuses squirting black ink all over. doh.
incovar experience was excellent. though last minute rushing for the script with no dinner and shower and no break till the very last minute of it, it turned out exceptionally well. minimal in preparation, high in impact. facilitator involvment were wonderful. the sketch was done really well.
and i was crying looking over the the entire situation and the impact it has on us. the negative memories of the torturing chamber not long ago began to come back and haunt me. the whole ordeal was too much to handle and ixp brought back the little light in the darkness. indeed there was hope. ixp talked about the lighting up of candles for hope. hope that brings us back to life. hope that gives us the little more strive to move on. as another candle is lit, it does not diminish the first flame but create another island of light and no matter how many is lit from one, that one remains strong and sure. its called inspiration. and not only will we pass this spark along, but we will burn ever more brightly because a candle that has few defilements will burn brighter than one that is impure. with the knowledge and guidance we have received so far, we can send the shadows back as we illuminate the path before us.
i have learned from wt to put my hope at the correct place so that we wont get despair over losing of hope. indeed the 26idc has left a permanent mark in my life where this is the first time i have known to attached it with my own torturing chamber...

...fred's broken leg...

...fred broke his leg the day before camp. dunno whether that is good news or bad news. but he seems to be enjoying every bit of it during camp; runnin around and jumping up and down. too bad it wasnt cement cast, so nobody could sign on it. but knowing him, he would want everyone to put something on it. wakakaz.
the nite he broke his leg, i had to bring him to the emergency room, xrayed, waited and arrived home at almost 2am. during camp, had to fetch him up and down from camp site to his house; apparently he cant use the toilet at the camp site. luckily the distance was not that far. just that the daily commute was tiring at the most odd of hours.
and due to his broken leg, he became more apparent in the camp and everybody just loved him more. and of course their focus of people to torture turned to kengyan and allex...
